# Update Section Layout Status

### How to Pause a Section Layout

An active section layout can be paused from the dashboard, affecting its visibility on your website. Follow these steps to pause a section layout:

#### Step 1

Open an active section layout and click the 'Pause' button in the top-right corner.

#### Step 2

A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click the 'Confirm' button to pause the section layout.

#### Step 3

The section layout is now paused and its updated status will reflect on your website.

### How to Resume a Section Layout

A paused section layout can be resumed, restoring its visibility on your website. Follow these steps to resume a section layout:

#### Step 1

Click the 'Resume' button in the top-right corner of the section layout.
